Malta is worth visiting

1. Early in the morning we went to the Vienna Airport by bus. The flight was exciting as it was the first time for some of us.

2. In the afternoon we reached our hotel, the Salini Resort, which is a really luxurious hotel with comfortable beds, a TV and a fridge in every room. Besides we could enjoy the lovely seaview from our big balcony. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious.

3. Most of us thought that Malta is green and colourful island, but the landscape there was brown because of the heat there and all the houses are built of limestone, which is light-brown.

4. Every morning we visited the English classes for four hours. The teachers were very funny and we could really learn a lot.

After school our guides lead us to different places in Malta.

5. One day we visited the capital city Valletta, where we admired a few very beautiful and important historical buildings. On our tour there was also enough time for shopping and ice-cream.

6. On Tuesday we went to the Golden Bay Beach which is one of Malta´s most beautiful sandy beaches. The waves there were quite high, so we had a lot of fun in the sea.

7. On Wednesday we visited Mdina in the afternoon. Mdina is a medieval town with only 80 inhabitants. Besides you can enjoy the best chocolate cake I have ever eaten there.

8. On Thursday we didn´t have any school lessons but we went on a “Best of Malta” tour by bus. The highlight of this tour was definitely the stop at the Blue Grotto where some of us took a boats tour.

All in all it was the best week ever.
